Colorado Construction Career Days is an industry sponsored event for Junior and Senior high school students, to explore the variety of careers available within construction – design, infrastructure, building trades, architecture, engineering and much more.
Activities will offer students a glimpse of the diversity of careers in the industry. Small groups of students are escorted by construction industry volunteers who serve as a source of information about the business as well as guides to the activities.
It is being held Thursday (9/15) at the Norris Penrose Event Center.
It was so great to meet so many realtors and people involved in the Colorado Springs Building industry!
This year RMG employees had a goal of bringing in a total of 151 food items (3 items per person), and if the goal was met, RMG would donate a monetary amount to food banks in Colorado Springs, Denver and Fort Collins/Greeley. Not only did RMG Employees meet the goal, they surpassed it by 30 items! We have such a great team! The 3 organizations that received our donations were: Care and Share (Colorado Springs), Weld County Food Bank (Greeley) and Food Bank of the Rockies (Denver Metro).
This year’s festivities at the Colorado Springs RMG location were a chance for engineers and support staff to showcase their creativity! Congrats to our Geologist for winning the stocking decorating contest! And of course, everyone who participated in the cookie exchange was a winner as they left with an assortment of 4 dozen homemade Christmas cookies.
RMG Engineers participated as a team in the American Cancer Society’s “Walk for Life” 5K event on October 19th. Thanks to everyone who participated and donated! We were able to raise over $1,000 for the cause and it was a blast!
RMG Engineers’ Youtube page is now public! Check out our video of the construction on The City of Colorado Springs Administration Building Parking Garage. RMG provided the structural engineering, and the video shows several hours of construction in just over 5 minutes!
Every year, the Northern Colorado Business Report (NCBR) and Biz West publish their top Mercury 100 companies in the region. This year, RMG Engineers was named the 5th fastest growing company in Northern Colorado in the category of $3.5m – $7m businesses! Tom Cope, Professional Engineer and manager of our Northern Colorado Office, accepted the award last night. We are very proud of our Northern Colorado Branch, and thankful to all of our clients for their continued business.
