John P. Clarke, P.E.
President
Mr. Clarke is a registered professional engineer with a B.S. in
Civil Engineering. He has 27 years of experience in California
and Colorado and is registered in Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada,
Wyoming and California. He serves as the Structural Department
Manager and principal structural engineer.
He has been a structural consultant on over 1500 projects in Colorado
with special emphasis on foundation designs for lightly loaded structures
on highly expansive clays. Mr. Clarke coordinates the geotechnical
design parameters with the structural engineering of the foundations
for residential structures, industrial and commercial structures,
churches, multifamily projects, schools, banks and medical facilities.
He also provides structural design for retainage structures including
concrete, railroad ties, bins and various manufactured retaining
walls. He has developed foundation systems included rafts,
heavily reinforced walls, caissons, driven piles and helical piers.
David Schmidt, P.E.
Vice President
Mr. Schmidt is a registered professional engineer with a B.S in
Civil Engineering and a M.S. in Forest and Wood Science (Timber
Engineering). He has 14 years experience in California and
Colorado and is registered in Colorado. He serves as a structural
project manager.
Mr. Schmidt has been a structural consultant on over 1000 projects
with emphasis on special timber designs including glulam trusses
and log trusses. His design experience includes churches,
club house, private schools, multifamily and custom residential

Secretary
Mr. Werder has a B.S. in Physics with 24 years of experience in
materials testing and consulting engineering firm management.
He provides guidance and direction in professional development,
management and technical aspects of the firm.
He has been a senior soils engineering technician for the past
19 years with RMG Engineers and 22 years in Colorado. Some
of the projects that Mr. Werder has been involved in include commercial
and industrial structures, mining portals, land developments, power
plants, dams, roadways, groundwater studies, geologic investigations,
shopping centers, schools, correctional facilities, underground
utility installations and construction management.
